Depending on how you use the product, we may act as a data controller (for our website, marketing, and account administration) or as a data processor (for customer content you upload or sync into the platform).

We may collect:

• Account data — name, work email, company name, role, and authentication details.
• Billing data — plan, invoices, and payment metadata processed by our payment provider (we do not store full card numbers).
• Customer content — CRM records, messages, call metadata, workflows, agent configurations, and other data you or your integrations submit.
• Usage data — product interactions, feature usage, approximate location from IP, device/browser type, and diagnostic logs.
• Communications — emails and scoping-call notes when you contact us.

We use information to:

• Provide, operate, and improve the HouseOfApps platform
• Authenticate users and secure accounts
• Process subscriptions and send service notices
• Respond to support and scoping requests
• Monitor reliability, prevent abuse, and debug issues
• Comply with law and enforce our Terms of Service

Where you enable AI features, prompts and relevant context may be sent to model providers you configure (including BYOK keys) to generate responses. We do not sell personal data.

We may share information with:

• Infrastructure, analytics, email, and payment subprocessors that help us run the service under contractual confidentiality and security obligations
• AI model providers you choose or enable for product features
• Professional advisors, or authorities when required by law
• A successor entity if we are involved in a merger, acquisition, or asset transfer

We retain account and billing records for as long as your subscription is active and as needed for legal, tax, and dispute purposes afterward. Customer content is retained according to your workspace settings and our backup schedules until you delete it or close the account, subject to residual copies in encrypted backups that rotate out on a defined schedule.

We use industry-standard safeguards including encryption in transit (TLS 1.3), encryption at rest (AES-256), access controls, and audit logging. More detail is on our Security page. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; please use strong credentials and report issues promptly.

HouseOfApps may process data in the United States and other countries where we or our subprocessors operate. Where required, we use appropriate transfer mechanisms (such as Standard Contractual Clauses) for cross-border transfers.

Depending on your location (including GDPR/UK GDPR and similar laws), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, port, or restrict processing of personal data, and to object to certain processing. You may also lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

Our marketing site and app may use essential cookies for authentication and security, and limited analytics cookies to understand product usage. You can control non-essential cookies through your browser settings where applicable.

HouseOfApps is a B2B service and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the revised version on this page and update the effective date. For material changes, we may provide additional notice in the product or by email.
